Kyiv is one of the cities of Ukraine, its capital, whose name begins with the letter K. It is the largest in the country and flows through the river called Dnieper. It is estimated that Kyiv was founded in the 5th century and was located on the Scandinavian trade route with Constantinople. Until 1793, the city was located on the borders of the Polish state.
