Paris

His beloved was the queen of Sparta, named Helena. Before Paris was born, his mother had a dream that she would give birth to a torch that would burn the city down.

Pandora

Pandora comes from Greek mythology. She was considered the first woman on Earth. It was sent by Zeus, and created by Hephaestus as a punishment for people by the actions of Prometheus. He saw a trick in her, so he was reluctant to admit it, but his brother married her.

Penelope

Penelope is a character known from mythology, with a name starting with the letter P. She was the queen of Ithaca, due to the fact that she married Odysseus. Her mother was Periboa and her father was Ikarios. After the death of her first husband, she remarried, and her chosen one was Telegonus, with whom she settled in the Blessed Isles.

Persephone

Persephone is a mythological character starting with the letter P. She was the wife of Hades and the daughter of Zeus and Demeter. It comes from Greek mythology. Hades kidnapped her while playing in the meadow. Due to the fact that her mother in anger took away the fertility of the earth and famine ensued, Hades, fearing for people, agreed to give Persephone.

Prometheus

Prometheus is a Titan from mythology whose name begins with the letter P. It is believed that he formed man with algae and tears, and gave him his soul from divine fire. Prometheus' father was Iapetus and his mother Climene. He is known to have stolen fire for humans, for which he was punished. He was chained to the rocks of the Caucasus. Every day a vulture would come and tear out his liver, which kept growing back.

Phobos

Phobos is a mythological character whose name begins with the letter P. He was the personification of fear. Phobos is the son of Aphrodite and Ares in Greek mythology. He had four siblings named Deimos, Anteros, Harmonia and Eros. Together with one of his brothers, he was highly revered in Sparta. The modern word phobia originated from his name.
