Urania was a muse in Greek mythology. She was considered the daughter of the god Zeus. She had eight siblings. Urania is one of the nine Olympic muses who belonged to the retinue of their guide, i.e. the god Apollo. With her singing with other muses, she graced feasts, including the wedding of Peleus and Thetis.
